Having a pick up policy is standard throughout the voice over industry and protects the voice artist from being asked to re-record at length and/or multiple times without due compensation. Thank you for understanding!

If there are errors in your recording due to a mistake on my part, I will, of course, correct it promptly and free of charge. 

However, if script revisions due to client changes arise after recording, which require me to re-record certain parts, my policy is as follows: 

• If I record on my own time outside of a live session, the initial project quote includes up to 2 minor revision recordings, or pick ups, free of charge (typically a few words or one sentence). More than 2 minor changes will be billed separately at $75/per pick up (or the equivalent in your currency). 

• If we recorded live together, any and all pick ups are subject to a starting fee of $75. 

When asked to record any major pick ups for reasons pertaining to client changes or preferences, I consider it a chargeable service. I reserve the right to determine what constitutes a major pick up (typically anything longer than a few sentences), as well as to determine the rate (based off the rate of the initial project quote). 

All pick ups will be recorded and submitted as quickly as possible. 

Any and all pick ups should be requested within 10 business days of recording of the original script.
