While voiceover work may not be rocket science, my professional acting training has equipped me with a proven process that ensures I deliver every time—no guesswork involved.
Here’s a sneak peek into my process:
Whenever I win a job,
I research the company, the brand, and any relevant video content. This gives me insight into what the client is likely looking for. Is the brand straightforward and no-nonsense, or is it sassy and bold? The vibe of the client’s online presence helps me decide how to approach their voice over scripts.
Next, I build a character to voice the script.
I often draw inspiration from a real person on the client’s Leadership Team and use my acting training to voice the copy from their perspective.
This approach makes each read personal, authentic, and truly connected to the client's brand.
One of the biggest compliments I've received was from the creative team for the Eyeglass World campaigns I voice:
“We loved your audition because you sounded like a real employee of the company.”
